You can store it in an airtight jar for a reasonable time. Pop it in the fridge until needed.

Scrape it all off and start from fresh or Wood Panel over it. Or use Anaglypta
or Lincrusta wallpaper over it. or tile it.............
Use a bucket of warm water and a broom to loosen up the glue on the wall. Then wash the wall down with more warm water, and wipe down the walls with a soft cloth. The broom will be shot when you're done but the glue will be gone.
I have tried getting the glue off but end up with tennis elbow so have left it looking like crud for years and in this new year....tired of that plan. Need a new plan!
