How do I heat a garage?
My bedroom is over our garage and it is always cold. The floor is not as warm as the rest of the house that is over a finished basement How can I heat the garage to help the bedroom to be more comfortable. Thx

I'm not sure I'd try to heat the garage. I expect the main cause of the cold bedroom is lack of sufficient insulation between the garage and the room. Sometimes there is NO insulation so I'd start there. If you do try to heat the garage instead, do keep in mind the outer walls likely have no insulation either so it will be pretty costly to heat unless you insulate those walls first. Finally, many people take advantage of cooler garage temps for various kinds of storage & you'll be giving that up if you heat the space.
I would just insulate your room from the cold of the garage by adding extra rugs and getting one of those portable infared heaters to keep things cozy.
