How do I repair where tub meets floor?
The tub area is told with 18" tiles that extend 8" outside the tub to the floor. However the area where the tub meets the tile in the corner and all along the floor and the was never finished. A rubber strip was glued to the tub, however, it is coming lose in the corner and dirt and yuck is collecting. Need to repair before leaks happen to floor.

Hard to picture what you have. Can you post a photo?
Hi Gloria,
This is Linda and if I were doing this, I would either clean out that corner and caulk it or I'd clean the whole area and replace the rubber strip. Most tubs that I've seen are caulked at the meeting link of the floor and tub. I'm guessing that yours was wider as the reason for the rubber strip. Wishing you the best.
You can do an accent type of tile. If you don't have skills to tile, you can caulk to prevent leaks or maybe add flexible caulk stripping like this:

Here are two pictures of the problem. I don't know how well you can see what the problem is. I was thinking big time (amateur here) and doing a complete wood or tile front to the tub. Am this wishful thinking? The tub is not smooth.
I basically would go with Linda's suggestion. Where the tb meet. Floors move and the tub lowers with human and water weight. Clean the area out real well. Squeeze some clear caulk into the gap and embed the rubber strip Kathy suggests into the caulk covering the gap. Both are the perfect solution.
After seeing the pictures I think you should replace with bull nose tile.
