My dog has done the exact same thing, but what really freaked me out is I have the exact same linoleum print. This looks exactly like my kitchen floor! Did they put something in the manufacturing of this floor covering to make it tasty to dogs? I am sorry I do not have an answer for you as I am looking for a solution as well. But I had to comment.

Bad dog! Your message was cut off, but I would investigate the cost of fixing it versus replacing it on the entire floor. You might be surprised.

You could try cutting out the bad section and piecing in a new piece of linoleum.
