Hi Shannon. I'm Cindy. At my old house, my laundry room seemed cluttered all the time. I learned that it was all a matter of having proper storage. My husband installed a cabinet for me. I finally had somewhere to put the laundry soap, drier sheets, bleach, cleaning products, etc. All of these things were on the floor before. He also put up a couple metal plates with clips on them to store my brooms, mops, etc. Those were also on the floor before. These simple "fixes" de-cluttered my laundry room. It was all a matter of having proper storage.
I would look at laundry room pictures first..you probably want to have a plan, then do the work.
Hi Shannon - This is one of my favorite articles on cleaning, organizing and decluttering. It really breaks down the steps of the process, and even includes an interview with TV show Hoarders star Matt Paxton. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

Start with a little bit every day! Don't get overwhelmed and just work through the laundry room. Baskets/storage will be your best friend! And then only keep what you need in the laundry space.
