The first thing will be to put some cement board or Backer boardover the ground first then add your tile over
Is this a home you move? If so keep in mind adding too much weight. Cement board and backer board are heavy all by themselves. Then tile will add even more weight. If this is a mobile home that is parked in a lot. Weight won't be an issue. Cement board is used in tub and shower surrounds because it won't rot or absorb moisture. It may be on your walls behind whatever is on them now. Once that surface is level you apply tile, wait for the glue to dry and grout. After several weeks I believe you go back and seal the grout and tiles (if they aren't glazed).
