How do I clean an old mirror?
I was given a large heavy mirror with a frame I love. But the mirror is foggy and streaky and I can't get it clean and clear. It doesn't seem like the problem comes from the back.

I use SPRAYWAY glass cleaner. Spray can sold at most places, has a blue lid. Cloudiness and streaks do occur as mirror edges and exposed to moisture.
Kathy,. The mirror might be ruined,. Try alcohol spray. Spray the rag not directly on the mirror. Good Luck! Aloha!
It may need re-silvered, which can be very costly.
There are glass and mirror cleansers containing "feldspar", used on antiques. Start there to determine if re-silvering is warranted.
Thank you all!
