Dig up one of the bad spots and shake the clump over a piece of white paper. If you have cinch bugs they will fall on the white paper.....look like little house flies. Extension Office told us to use Sevin spray on the lawn in May and again in July.

If you have small children, be extremely cautious when applying Sevin in your landscape. It works well, but can have adverse effects on health, depending upon application amounts.
