How can I repaint/refurbish peeling bonded leather dining chairs?
They are parson type dining room chairs that are infrequently used. All of a sudden, they seem to be peeling and cracking. HELP!!!
Is there anyway to put new material over the velvet. There is no paint that I know of that can be used.
You can still reupholster. You really can't paint velvet. You only paint non plush fabric.
I’ve but seen a lot of folks on Hometalk, Pinterest, blogs, etc. discuss using Dixie Belle paint for painting upholstered furniture. I don’t know if it works on velvet nor have I personally tried it. But I believe that’s the brand you’re looking for. Good luck, let us know how it turns out!
