You could cut the legs in half and use the other halves for the back and make it a table or bench (depending on the height) for storage. Clean, sand, paint, and stencil. Or take the legs off and use as decorative shelving.
storage over a desk?
how about a bedroom vanity, add a mirror and chair
or in kitchen as a coffee/tea station
As soon as I saw it I thought Christmas mantle piece fire surround. Paint it a crisp white and hang Christmas decorations and stockings from it and fill the shelves with presents🎁🎄😜
You could add counter then use as a dry sink or a planting station.
In your entrance hall, you could place a bench with storage for shoes/boots in front of it and use the headboard cubbies for storing, hats, gloves, a tray for keys, a basket for mail, etc. You might want to consider placing a tray under the bench if you live where wet shoes are common.
Storage for any room. Add a bottom, two more legs and a shelf splitting the bottom section in two. Add baskets for storage. Could be kitchen storage, office storage, bathroom supplies, linens, mail, shoes or hats and gloves in an entry, paint supplies in the garage.
I would put wood glue in the holes. Paint the entire piece. The color would depend on what other colors you are using on your patio. Decorate it just like a shelving unit you would have in your living room. Maybe you would consider putting a piece of glass in the center and/or a framed picture. Just make sure you coordinate all the colors.
Hello!
I would wipe it off, chalk paint it a bold color, add 2 thrift store doors on the 2 bottom shelves for privacy; fit or modified - I would then go to the Dollar Store and purchase a metal basket to fit the center shelf opening, some pretty summer glasses and plates, Napkins and utensil's and place it on my patio and enjoy to view!
When you chalk paint there is no need to prime, just paint. Suggestion - Anne Sloan Peacock Blue and add teal and yellow accessories! Have a drink on me!
Sorry it's me again, the metal basket is for keeping beverages cold - Do not forget to add some nice plants on top!
