Hi Tammy. I'm Cindy. Rub the burn mark in a circular motion to lift some of the discoloration. Then sprinkle baking soda on the burn mark. Next take a clean cloth and dampen it with white vinegar. Use it to scrub the stain in a circular motion until it is gone. Good luck Tammy.

It can be sanded down, and then you can paint the top with Rustoleum counter paint.
