How to use shrink wrap?
I have a LOT of faux flowers. They are in cardboard boxes. I'd like to 'shrink wrap' the bottom of the boxes to make them slightly sturdier. Every video makes it look complex and dangerous. Seriously?
Any help appreciated.

Have you thought of Duct taping the edges and down the center?
Hi Orla,
Here's a video that doesn't look complex or dangerous. I think that the danger warning is because if you leave the heat too long in the same place, the plastic could catch on fire. If you've done shrink wrapping before you should be fine. This video does wrap the entire box, but you could fit the shrink wrap where you want it to be. I hope this helps. Wishing you the best.

Have you considered buying plastic bins with lids? They are available in many sizes and colors, will hold your flowers nicely, you can stack them, and they last forever. They go on sale quite often so try to buy them on sale.
Why don't you just wrap the boxes with clear packing tape instead? Much sturdier and clear.
It's great that you're looking to enhance the sturdiness of your faux flower boxes using shrink wrap. While videos can sometimes make things seem complicated, shrink wrapping is actually quite manageable. I'd recommend checking out this reliable Shrink Wrap Machinery manufacturer's website to get more info and more insights. Although you may not require machinery for your task, understanding the principles from experts could give you a clearer perspective.
You might find that starting with smaller, less complex items to practice your technique could help you gain confidence. Just remember, like anything else, practice makes perfect.
