Front door (metal) has gaps between the door and frame. How do i fix
Our front door (metal) has a lot of gaps between the door and the frame allowing cold or hot air to come in. How do I fix that?
Most obvious answer would be a wreath. You can customize it so it reflects your hobbies. If you are into golf make one and include golf balls and tees. You can make special ones for various holidays also.
There are huge selections of decals that go on and off the door easily. Again select your hobbies or likes. I found some cute ones for my bedroom doors at amazon.com (and they are cheap too).
If you are a wild child you could put a peace symbol on the door.
If you are patriotic a flag or yellow ribbon indicating support for the troops.
Dog lover a decal of your favorite breed.
Into farm house style a barn facade with hay sticking out.
The ideas are endless. Good luck picking just one!
You could add a decorative wreath or basket filled with silk flowers.
You could use command hooks. They make large sized command hooks that can hold 5-8 lbs. The hooks adhere and remove without leaving any marks.
Decals hang or adhere to the door without leaving any marks and there are many to choose from. Go to amazon.com and type decals in the search bar. You will be surprised by the amount to choose from.
If your door is metal you could use a magnetic hook. Look or ask for them at your local hardware store.
I have one that is very strong.
If you have a window on your door you use two magnets, one inside one outside, back to back. A friend used a matched pair on her door's window that was designed to use on the glass.
If your door is not metal, I agree with Mogie to use Command Hooks.
Along the line of decals, I've read that they also make removable wall paper. Even more color and pattern options, I think.
Good luck!
