A garden sprayer can be used on thin stain. I have used one on decks and fences. It could work on the house too. However, I'd probably rent an airless sprayer or let a pro do it - especially if you have a tall house.

Hi Darlene, if you don't want to put it on there by head you could rent a paint sprayer. Just make sure the sprayer is rated for putting stain on too.
