You will need a leather repair kit available at DIY stores and Amazon.
Valerie: If the leather is actually rubbed OFF... you cannot repair. Maybe a better idea would be something like this:

I would buy a leather-like fabric that either matches or coordinates with the chair/sofa and make arm covers since leather will be hard to repair.
