They are okay to use on occasion, but donβt spray anything they regularly play with or sleep on. Instead, try this homemade Febreeze recipe! #1 Get your spray bottle, and drop in ΒΌ cup of baking soda. Add a little bit of warm distilled or filtered water and shake, then add 3 teaspoons of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). Then fill the rest with distilled or filtered water. Shake the spray bottle really well, making sure all of the baking soda has dissolved. Now itβs ready! #2 Mix 2 tablespoons of vodka and a few drops of essential oil in a spray bottle. Fill up your spray bottle the rest of the way with distilled water. Shake it, then spray it! The vodka will help to keep this mixture fresh for a couple of weeks, but donβt use it past three weeks! #3 Get a large spray bottle and add 2 tablespoons of baking soda and ΒΌ cup of fabric softener. Fill up the rest of the bottle with hot, clean, filtered water or hot distilled water. Shake the bottle until all of the ingredients are well blended. (Shake gently before each use).
