How to clean white fleece on suede slippers?
I have pink suede with white fleece slippers that are really showing dirt. It seems like the suede would need one kind of cleaner, and the fleece something else. Not sure what to do.

How to Clean Suede
Hi Jeana,
I would try baking soda and a suede brush for the suede part. Sprinkle it on dry, let it sit, then brush with a suede brush. You could use baking soda and a toothbrush for the fleece. I have also read that you can use a little spray of vinegar for tough spots, but don't wipe them dry. Instead blot up any vinegar. Wishing you the best.
Your fleece appears to be showing signs of wear. Cover the suede, then start with cornstarch on the fleece. Let it set, then brush in gently. Shake out excess. You may need to replace the fleece, which can be purchased at fabric stores. You'll need to make a template of your fleece, then transpose it to the fabric. Allow additional for seam allowances. You could most likely secure the new fleece with shoe glue.
Suedes can be tricky, and are best left to professional suede cleaners (available at some hardware stores and shoe stores) and a suede brush to raise the nap.
Throw them in the washer with an old towel. Air dry.
