How can I clean my old shower head?
I need a pet safe way to clean my old shower head. My cats like lapping up anything that might drip and I need something that won't be harmful to them.

Sandy, Soak it in vinegar, and then scrub it with dish soap,,, rinse again. Aloha!
Plain old white vinegar.
Hi Sandy, place a cup or two of white vinegar into a clear freezer bag and submerge your shower head into the bag. Yes, keep the shower head attached as it is. Then use a heavy-duty rubber band to wrap the nearly closed bag to let the shower head soak for several hours. If the bag is heavy duty there should be no leakage. When you remove the bag, you may need to scrub some of the holes with a brush to get any further deposits off the head. Then check to see how well the spray works. Bet it has helped it a lot. Repeat, as often as necessary if you have extremely hard water or water with lots of minerals in it.
