What grass is easy to grow and maintain for dog owners?

I have 2 dogs that have ruined the grass in my backyard. I need to replace the grass. What would you recommend? I need something that is dog friendly and holds to their runnning around.

Hi Kent, I'm not sure what area you stay in but Kentucky Bluegrass is one of the hardiest grasses available, and it thrives in most growing locations
How about doing away with traditional grass and use a ground cover instead? Creeping thyme, sedums, white clover. I have a mix of marathon fescue and white clover. And 6+ dogs in my yard. Here are some other options:

I have that problem to I have 3 dogs I just buy grass seed at ocean state or Home Depot throw it in empty spots water as it gets bear add seed
