Hydrogen peroxide for what purpose? Peroxide is a disinfecting and bleaching agent.
I was told that Hyodtogen Peroxide is supposed to remove the shine. Looks like it does not work.
What is the fabric of the item you are ironing and want to get rid of the "shine?" Can you describe the fabric?
I think it is cotton polyester.
Use an ironing cloth - a white cotton tea towel about 24" x 12". Can use with steam. The problem may be that you used too high heat to iron and literally melted the polyester. So watch your heat. Start out low, especially when using steam since steam delivers super heated moisture.
