Use Stitch Witchery which is an iron on tape. I have used it many times to make no sew curtains. You can buy it a Joann's. https://www.dritz.com/quilting-sewing-supplies/sewing/glues-bonding-stabilizers/stitch-witchery-fusible-bonding-web
Or . . . Use curtain clips! No sewing involved.
Or used finished sheets. They are hemmed on all sides; fold over rod for length desired. Also, you can retain 3 finished sides and cut top to make rod pocket using Stitch Witchery to finish off rod pocket.
Drop cloths are a great option, also Ikea has some great curtains that are very inexpensive! I'm not a sewing fan either ;)
Iron-on tape is a good option for non-sewers!
