I have one made of resin. It is a 4' tall angel made to look like cement. It has a crack in the wrist and has changed color in several places. When the weather changes to sunny, I plan to add come construction adhesive to the crack in the wrist and wipe the rest off so it is smooth. I bought a can of paint that comes out in a texture and plan to spray the entire statue. It comes in a bunch of colors.
If it is too worn out to clean with a scrub brush and soap, you could spray paint it whatever color you like. I painted one white and it made it look new again!

Scrub it with a scrub brush and some bleach and soap
