I repainted mine and it is holding up fine.
I would tape off the glass, and spray paint the frame!
Did you use paint O r spray paint, and what color?
Rustoluem 2X spray paint.
Everyone has suggested painting, but what about modge podge? It may give it a whole new look if you find a print that you love!
How about removing the frame altogether and go from there w/ ideas. You could leave it as is (plain /w/ no frame) and put on a wall either vertically, or horizontally over a couch or buffet... And/or paint some design on the wall around it or even on it. Go for it!! Have fun w/ it!
Clean it first then use spray paint in a fun color!
Tape off the main part of the mirror. The edges of the frame are not smooth and even and you will need to scrape with a flat razor after you finish painting. You will not be able to tape right up to the edge of the frame. If you are able to remove the mirror from the frame before painting that would be best. Definitely use a spray primer and then spray paint. Use thin multiple coats of spray paint.
