How and can I save a cacti from what looks like mealybug?
I reasantly gave a perfect potted cactus plant to a friend as xmas gift. It was left outside in the sun but know is covered in a white powder substance which i think is mealie bug. how do I treat it and can the plant be saved.

Spot Treatment with Isopropyl Alcohol. On small infestations on houseplants, a 70% or less solution of isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol in water may be dabbed directly on mealybugs with a cotton swab to kill them or remove them.
Hey Kevin, Em nailed it. Rubbing alcohol really works well getting rid of those nasty little bugs and it’s cheap!
