How do I best reduce the Radon in my basement?
I have a large crawl space which is probably causing the 8+ reading for Radon in my basement. I would like information for the S/W Denver area.

A vapor barrier is the best initial way to block radon. Use can also install a fan to pull in fresh air and exhaust bad air through the crawlspace vents. Vent covers should be off except in the winter.

You may want to call your gov. Office to see what they recommend. It is mandatory in out area to install a radon removal system in our houses.
Hi Vince. I also had high radon. We had a company come out and install a system that removes it. After they installed it another test was done and sent in to a 3rd party to show us that the level was almost at 0. I would get a few estimates and have one installed.
