How do I clean up our RV that got caught in a flood?
Floor is covered with mud, sand and water from the Missouri River. River is going down, should be able to get to it next week. Pull up carpet and linoleum, then what should I use to get rid of the mold and mildew. Have no electricity there yet. When we can get to it would a humidifier help or not? Do you think the flooring will be okay. Any ideas I would appreciate. Thanks much.

I'd sell it as soon as you make repairs. I'm been suffering from mold poisoning for 3 yrs nothing to play around with. Actually I'd probably give it to the first person who called or ask very little to be rid of it.
Just can’t get rid of it. Still paying on it.
If you do sell it be upfront with person looking at it. Don't let them find out the hard way there is a problem. Your insurance should cover replacement if it is deemed to be beyond repair.
Is the motor okay?
Your insurance should be covering/taking care of everything. I feel for you, I'd be sick. You'd better be real careful hooking up any electric in case wiring/batteries are damaged too. You need to go to janitorial supply store/warehouse and get commercial grade mold cleaners they work better and will be cheaper. Activated charcoal for smell buy in bulk online. Yes of course dehumidifier not humidifier & pressure washer.
Hi April -
So sorry to hear about everything that happened. My prayers to you and your family as you recover.
There are several ways to get rid of mold, but most importantly, you need to address the root cause to keep it from returning. This article focuses on the bathroom, but is an overall great article that covers methods of how to remove mold, if bleach is safe to use, and how to prevent it from coming back. Hope this helps! You should call a repairer to check for damaged devices, if expensive equipment is broken and cannot be repaired, I recommend selling it instead of repairing!
Good luck!
