Hi Karen, the most important thing when painting a garage floor is the type of paint you use. It should be made specifically for high traffic areas. Here's a video that will show you how to apply the paint - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLzQNFCRMRI
When selecting paint for your garage floor, make sure to choose an epoxy paint created especially for garage floors. Mix the paint well and apply a thin, even first coat. Cut in along the edges of your garage with a brush and then use a roller with a medium nap to apply the rest of the paint.

Bonus tips: To be more durable, you should keep the floor in a dry condition, avoid getting wet, leading to mold and quickly having to paint new times. You should use the garage heater, keeping it dry. Hope will help you!
