Does anyone know why those 2 leaves are yellowing?
After a few weeks of just showing buds, it finally started to bloom, but i noticed those 2 bottom leaves, yellowing. Other than that you can see the plant looks healthy.

It's growing wild near my house in the woods. There are several of these plants and they're very unusual. Any ideas?
Either too much water or not enough. I'd say too wet. The soil looks pretty wet. Orchid roots like to breath.
Don't worry, they are just older leaves getting ready drop off. I have orchids that do this sometimes. I don't like how they spoil the look of the plant, so I cut them off with a sterilized sharp knife. After cutting the leaf off, dab some ground cinnamon on the cut edge. Do that also when you cut flower spikes off. This is a natural antibacterial.
You're welcome!
Just old leaves falling off...Don't worry looks like you're doing a great job....
I think you over watered it

Hi Anthony - Your two stemmed orchid is healthy and beautiful. Sherry and Betsy are right. As an orchid lover, I have learned that the leaves will start to die when the plant still looks healthy and vibrant. Yes, cut off the dead leaves. As the plant continues to grow, the energy will be focused only on the new growth. Keep up the good work.
