How to cut glass bottles?
Hi there! Looking for a safe way to cut down some liquor and wine bottles. Have seen a few posts on Pinterest but thought I'd get some real time answers here. I have attached a picture of how I want them cut. Also, does anyone know if HD or Lowes will make the cuts? Thanks!

You can purchase a blade for cutting glass.
I too my bottles to my stained glass man who cut and sanded them do me.
I have done this and wrote a tutorial and have a video about it. You can find it here - https://chascrazycreations.com/cycling-bottles-bottle-cutter/
Buy a bottle cutter on Amazon they are not that expensive. That is the correct name for them. A "blade" for cutting glass is called a glass cutter and it used to cut flat glass. You specifically want a bottle cutter.
Look on "YouTube" for videos on cutting glass bottles- there are several.
The little rotary bottle cutting kits are safest and easiest
A bunch of places (including Walmart.com and Jerry's Art-o-Rama) sell bottle cutting kits. Most are under $15. They come with a base you put the bottle on for stability, a scoring nib for the glass and some kind of surface to soften the edge of the cut glass so it isn't sharp. You're going to find all kinds of things to do with empty bottles once you get the hang of it!
You may be able to buy a bottle cutter at a craft store . Be sure to wear safety glasses .
