Sandpaper the edges. Wear some old leather gloves to make sure you don't slice off your fingers .
You can use a sanding bit either on your Dremel tool or on your drill.

When you sand glass it works better to use a wet sandpaper. It helps to keep down the shards that come off the glass.
You sand/buff the edges. There are numerous sites you can google to see varying methods! Good luck!
