Power washing your home works well to remove mold. Cutting back excessive tree growth will also help it from forming in the first place. We had trees removed and our house stays a lot cleaner now.
HI Cassandra,
I would also recommend power washing the exterior. If you have spots that are particularly tricky and mold seems to return quickly I would recommend this Home exterior wash by Mold Armor. We had had great luck with this product in the past!

This product is labeled fabric, plant and turf friendly.

I hope this helps.
You have some great tips here, I would say the pressure wash with solution is the best advice. Mine is for "after". There is a product called wet & forget outdoor. It is wonderful for inhibiting mold & mildew. My front porch steps used to stay green & slimy. After I scrubbed them down with bleach last spring, I sprayed with this product. Checking them last week I saw they were still looking like new. I used to have to scrub them down once a month.
I used Simple Green in a spray bottle on our vinyl siding, gave it a scrub then hoses off. That might work on brick too.
