Unclog Drains Without Plunging
Remove the cover
Get one of those long plastic jagged tools to remove hair and gunk that is in the immediate drain area. They are rather cheap.
Pour 1 cup baking soda and 1 cup white vinegar down the drain and cover.
Let sit for 20 minutes while you boil a large pot of water.
Uncover and pour boiling water down the drain.
Repeat as needed until clear flowing.
Unless you take out the hair and gunk the tool Kathy suggested will take out, nothing will unclog the drain for long. I have even tried the stuff that says it takes care of the hair and it really didn't. I replied to your other drain question, so you will see what I do, which is very close to Kathy's suggestion.
It is usually hair and soap residue. Unscrew the drain cover and use a hair grabber to fish out the gunk.
