The plastic that keeps draft and cold air out, looking for any easier way of getting the plastic on my windows, I have a bad back.
1/2 bottle of Jet Dry rinse aid (or approximately 3 1/2 ounces)
4 Tablespoons rubbing alcohol
1/4 cup ammonia
1/4 cup dishwashing detergent
gallons of hot water
Mix in a bucket. Apply with a mop and scrub. Rinse with hose.

Cornstarch was used in the era of great grandparents. It worked amazingly well to cut through the film on the windows. Drying with newspaper left them sparkling.
