There are too many plants around it to try to spray Round Up and I can't pull it up.
Spread Preen after weeding and it helps with weeds coming back.

After your weeds are gone overlap thick (1/4" +) newspaper around your plants and cover with mulch. Newspaper will hold moisture and block weeds. When both break down in a couple years they will add to the soil. At that time add another layer of newspaper and mulch.
Sprinkle Preen to prevent new weed emergence. You can apply 4" hardbark mulch, then sprinkle more preen.
If this area is within 10' of siding, note that artillery fungus spores from mulching can spray against your siding.
