How do I clean mold and/or algae from my vinyl siding?
My vinyl siding is tinged light green on all sides. This type of siding can’t be pressure washed without causing lots of damage. Is there something I can use to easily clean it?

Hi there, You could use Spray and Leave . You spray it on and leave it to do it's magic over a few days or a week depending on the algee.
I've used Simple Green in a spray bottle, scrub it a bit after it sits a few minutes, then hose off. Works pretty well and is quick.
Put hot water, automatic dishwasher powder, and bleach in a bucket or a spray bottle. Spray on, let it set for a few minute and hose off. Use a soft brush on the really bad spots. I lived in a mobile home and used this every year to take the mold, algae and dirt off.
this took a little time to do but wow what a transformation. I not only had algae but just plain old dirt on my siding. I sprayed witha garden hose and went to town with Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Sprayed again and stepped back and looked at what a difference it made. I even did the vinyl on my white windows while I was at it.
We use Clorox Outdoor Bleach. We used to use our power washer but not since using this product. You just spray it on one side of the house and then take a garden hose and rinse it off. It does a beautiful job with no scrubbing needed unless it is really bad or you could try spraying it again.
theres a commercial hose end spray for just that and you only use your water hose pressure..takes 2-3 applications but it will work.. can be bought at some box stores and places like menards..
