I try to set a timer for 15 minutes before bed, and do a house pick up and tidy. It's amazing how much can be accomplished in 15 minutes! This helps wake up to a clean space and get my day started right. :)

I like to clean everything up right after dinner, so I can relax for a bit. Then when I wake up, everything is clean.

Clean all night, take a 5 minute nap, wake up to a clean living room.
I have a hour set aside before going to bed to put the dishes in the dishwasher, clean counters, put things away, put dirty clothes in the washing machine to be done the next day and use some homemade fabric refreshener to make the house smell good. So nice to get up to a clean house and so depressing to get up to a filthy house.
vacuum the floors, do the dishes, then make your bed when you rise
