Hi Deb, I think you could likely clean the gutters to get rid of the drip, or hire some one to do it, then just put a cement block on the spot that the dripping affected after you fill it. Hope this helps

extend it out away from area/house should be 4-6ft from foundation then fill hole-low spot with gravel;you can buy cement or plastic gutter troughs/splash blocks for bottom here are several types of add ons for bottom to keep water flowing away from house and not digging hole https://www.walmart.com/ip/RainGo-Splash-Block/21016288?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=1609&adid=22222222227016781887&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=51797373911&wl4=pla-83199781031&wl5=9030040&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=113487702&wl11=online&wl12=21016288&wl13=&veh=sem&gclid=EAIaIQobChMImIyz-4y_4QIVkpJbCh0E3gMhEAkYIyABEgIazvD_BwE more options https://www.google.com/search?q=concrete+splash+blocks&safe=active&sa=X&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS750US750&tbm=shop&tbs=vw:g&ved=0ahUKEwjmxN34jL_hAhUChlQKHUn1DtsQvQ0IvAI&biw=1366&bih=657#spd=18242422637291225126
We added splash guards to all our gutter down spouts. They are like open troughs made of a plastic like material that helps spread out the force of the water.
I agree with the splash blocks, that's what we have. Extending your downspouts 4-6ft usually isn't an option and it isn't necessary.
