Put an old cloth on the board and warm the Iron. Use any odd bit of bar soap and rub over the iron, It will sissle - not to worry just lift and iron over the old piece of cloth, repeat until clean..........Best wishes.
Hi Pat! You can make a paste out of equal amounts of white toothpaste, baking soda, and white vinegar. Then use a green Scotchbrite dish scrubber. Then wipe off the residue with a paper towel. It takes a little elbow grease but it works.
