Hi Kathy. This project has a few steps. Begin by removing at least the top layer using very warm soap and water. You can even saturate a clean cloth and let it set on the tape for 5 minute increments. Try to scrape the tape off after every time. Once you get down to the glue, use WD40 to remove it. It may take several attempts to get all adhesive off. Dry with a clean cloth. Good luck.
Try to scrape off the top tape layer, use goo gone for the sticky stuff.
