How to fix a cracked cement slab?
My patio cement is cracked in several places. I have tried a filler but it looks like a road map. What can I do?

After you fill in cracks with cement patch paint the whole patio dig out the old stuff if you could and get hydronic cement it exspands to go in all the crevices and seals then paint it.
Well you have half of the job done. After filling all the cracks you can resurface the patio.

You can paint it if everything is smooth even the cracks. Or it will show through. Do not use hydraulic cement like Kathy suggests. That is not what it's made for. It fills basement and foundation cracks where water is seeping in. Patio cement will crack more. Foundation floors and basement walls are thicker.
You can also skim coat it with concrete made for that.
If it were me, I would paint the slab then seal it. Here is an idea for you to consider: https://www.hometalk.com/diy/outdoor/patios/paint-your-concrete-patio-32805762
Also there are many more in "upcycle" and "paint" if you click on "explore projects" you will find a number of them. Hope this helps, Leslie

You need to know why it is cracking. Normally due to freeze/thaw conditions over the winter. Original may not have been installed properly. If other suggestions don't work, it may need to be replaced - ensuring expansion joints are there.
