Yes we just painted ours and they look brand new! I used regular wall paint with a roller.
Yes. If yours are noise-deterent, painting may make them less able to absorb sound. But they should paint easily. Remove the tiles and dust and vacuum them before painting if you can. Otherwise, use a long-handled roller brush. Best wishes!
Yes, they can be painted just fine. Depending on the type they may really absorb a lot of paint!
