Have you used mineral oil or RainX to keep sills dust free?
The window sills get filthy overnight. The dust and pollen from the day makes the window sills pretty dirty. I wondered if anyone uses anything to keep them clean. Thanks for thinking.

Any "oil" will attract dust and dirt. I live in a hot dusty dry climate. Just wipe them down regularly. Or consider purchasing an ionizer.
Nothing will keep the sills clean from the dust and pollen that settle there. Just try using a damp rag on them in the evening to see if they are cleaner in the morning. If the windows are open, it will gather no matter what you put on the sills.
