spray the ink with hairspray before you wash
Flood with rubbing alcohol and rinse. Don't scrub. Pat with a dry cloth.
If you haven't gotten it wet, hair spray should take it out. I've always had great success with it and use a child's toothbrush to scrub.
I've read alcohol but no experience with it. Perhaps that is why hairspray works so well.
Hi Sandy,
Either hairspray or alcohol, just apply and blot and launder as usual. If you put the garment through the dryer and it still has ink on it, the heat will set the stain in it.
I've also had success with hairspray but I spray it through the fabric from the other side of the stain and the ink drips right out. I keep a spray can of cheap hairspray from the dollar store in the laundry room.
Use hairspray
Use the aerosol spray kind not the liquid spray.
Goo Gone or Oxiclean spray
