Try a scavenger hunt. Words for older children and pictures for younger ones.
You. CAn use candies in the plastic eggs...or numbers on small papers..that coordinate with larger prizes like bubbles, movie tickets, mc D gift certificate...have fun.
Try to give each kid their own color of egg to find. Make sure that at least one egg of each color has a special prize in it.
I started a different hunt 5 years ago for my husband.....and he looks forward to it every year. I buy about 10 bottles of unique and awesome bottles of beer.....and hide them all over the house!!! He is surprised when he finds a bottle from the
"beer bunny". Our kids and grand kids still have a chuckle over this. Keeps an almost 70 year old happy and active!!!
oh yeah......the kids Easter egg hunt still goes on in and out doors.
When my kids were little I did a Easter Hunt for them. I used plastic eggs and I put clues in them so that they couldn't continue until they found the next egg. The last clue would tell them where they would find their Easter basket. We had so much fun with this. As they got a little older, I made the clues more difficult. When they were in their teens, I even put an egg at the end of our block under a stop sign. That was a good one. Good luck Shirley. Have fun.
