Cover over it might be the easiest. Paint, contact paper, wallpaper...depending on your budget and needs. It’s glass, so anything that can adhere to it could be a solution. I’ve seen windows changed into beautiful “stained glass “ using paints.
Try with someone else to get putty knifes under the corner and shove the knife under as much as you could do on both sides at the top then slowly lift the knifes
Here is a helpful post on how to remove it: https://www.11magnolialane.com/how-to-safely-remove-that-large-builder-bathroom-mirror/
Criss-cross with painters tape. Start in a corner with a wide putty knife and work upwards. Most mirrors are attached with double side tape so if you hit a stubborn piece that may be the problem. Keep at it til loose. Glass may break so wear protective gear and gloves. We took off 10' of mirror and none broke.
Also most charities, like Habitat for Humanity won't take a donation of unframed mirrors like these. Safety issue. So unless you have someone who wants it. It doesn't really matter if it cracks or breaks. Just tape the surface like the other poster recommended.
