Cleaning vinegar has an acid value of 6% and is a slightly stronger version of the white vinegar that we use as a food product, which has a 5% acidity value. So it will be just a bit stronger as a cleaning product.
Vinager comes in many strengths any thing higher than 5 % is a cleaning vinager. Consider it toxic if kids are arround, do not use for food items.
Both will do the same.
Vinegar is a great nontoxic cleaner because of its acidity. So just about any vinegar would be great to kill germs with. Yet white distilled vinegar is definitely the absolute favorite for green cleaning.
Yes, it sure will. Good luck!
Yes, it's just a little stronger acid.
Cleaning vinegar (from what I have read) is not good for indoor cleaning and can be harmful to your health. There are certain items that should not be cleaned with "cleaning vinegar." Google this before using.
The reason cleaning vinegar is more effective than white vinegar for cleaning purposes comes down to acidity level. The acid in vinegar is what cuts through grease and grime, removes sticky residue and fights soap scum. White vinegar has 5 percent acidity; while cleaning vinegar, on the other hand, has 6 percent.

Basically yes. It is the concentration of the vinegars that is different, if close in numbers 5-6% then not an issue.
