I need some great ideas to recycle 16 oz aluminum beer cans.
16 oz aluminum beer cans with screw on top. For outside patio and garden. See pic.
Up right or chest you will need some felt covered wood racks, I recommend
plastic ammo cans and some type of moisture material to absorb any moisture
accumulation. You don't want mold or rust. A good locking system.
The locking system is where I’m scratching my head, as I’m envisioning putting a blind hasp in
and a big enough pry bar could tear out the sheet metal screws.
perhaps carriage bolts with rounded heads so pry bars can't get under them. Also you could put a heavy metal strip on the inside the lid with bolts through it to hold lock. The bar will not pull through the lid of the freezer.
also about preventing rust. …..old timers used rags soaked with kerosene to prevent rust. I know it stinks, but…. if putting a soaked rag in with the metal prevents rust.... I use rags inside metal barrels that are air tight.Only the lid rusted a little. Now I wipe the lids and no rust any where.Coffee cans store nuts and bolts. a little piece of soaked rag keeps them rust free also.
