How to stop rain water?
I have a farm field behind my mobile home. The field and my yard are sloped so the muddy water ends up settling on my patio and walk. I’m a widow and have to do all the work myself. I’m also on an extremely tight budget. Help!

Maybe some trim or something similar ... maybe some rocks!!??
depending on how large an area you have the best would be digging a trench around your area that floods and filling with limestone so the water has a place to drain into
You might try talking to the farmer...perhaps he could leave a grass buffer between his plowed area and your yard. Farmers are supposed to control erosion and run off.
Maybe contact an extension agent for your county. They may be able to direct you.
As Sharon said dig trench higher up aways from your patio line, so water runs in a different direction not down the slope onto your patio.
I totally agree with Sharon trench to divert the water flow is only solution
