Has anyone used rubber mulch?
I need to put down some new mulch this Spring and I have seen the rubber mulch which looks pretty cool. I am wondering if anyone has used it and if they liked it.

You are best to use a cedar mulch as there are no oils in the product.
I put some down (red) in 2000. It is around my HVAC unit and I absolutely love it. I put down plastic and a couple of rocks to hold the plastic in place. Then the mulch around it. It hasn't faded or floated away and for that type of area, it is perfect.
If you have any dogs that might eat the rubber mulch consider something different. Dogs eating any kind of mulch is bad! Too many chemicals.

Many complaints about excessive temperatures when using rubber mulch.
Pretty toxic, recycled tires have carcinogenic chemicals like benzene for one.
