There all kinds of plantings you can use, either permanent or not. You could go to a nursery or one of the home improvement places for help. They may, and probably will, have more ideas for you. Good luck. Whatever you do, it will be beautiful.

We are planting shrubs and trees all around our property for privacy. We love the natural barrier and not the commercial type. We are in an allotment with many people having their whole place gobbled up by fence, and some of it is just not pretty to the eye. I love privacy and I can't wait for mine to grow taller!

You could use a hedge row. Perhaps hi bush blueberries? If you have chain link you could grow honeysuckle on it to reduce the view.
